Assembler II

Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Job Summary

The Production Associate 2 is responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. This position works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• •Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• •Makes set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• •Other duties may be assigned as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

• •Requires some production experience.
• •Simple oral communication skills, visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• •Successful completion of company’s on-the-job training or probationary program.
