Description
The Assembly Lead Operator directs and coordinates activities in processing materials or manufacturing products by performing the following duties.
3rd shift
11:00pm-7:30am
Monday-Friday
- Maintain an effective and efficient workforce by organizing and allocating team members based on production demands.
- Maintains a safe, clean and orderly workplace in compliance with all Vandor regulations including applicable local, state and federal laws. Ensure that all team members are working safely.
- Ensures conformity to production requirements with the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
- Troubleshooting to ensure quality standards are met during production of molded parts.
- Ensure all materials are maintained for production.
- Operate Forklift safely.
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Must be a team player, able to work successfully with interdependent teams.
- Must be self-motivated, a “self-starter”.
- Must be able to motivate others to achieve and maintain excellence.
- Must possess the analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to perform the job.
- Must have trouble shooting capabilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma with additional relevant formal education or equivalent experience is required. Direct experience in production is preferred. At least three to five years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75lbs.
- Operate Forklift safely.
