Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial operations, managing accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the restaurant.

Process invoices, expenses, and receipts in a timely manner.

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and budgets.

Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.

Proven experience in accounting, preferably in hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of operational systems (Micros) and Oracle systems (SUN and Material Control) is a plus
