Assistant Athletic Trainer

Position Details

Provides athletic training services to student-athletes, including evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and documentation of athletic injuries.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, treat and provide rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Review and document injuries.

Provide referrals for appropriate medical care.

Provide athletic training services on the field or court, at practices and events.

Manage insurance and other documentation necessary for proper medical care.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
• •One year of NATABOC certified experience required.
• •Experience supervising and teaching student athletic trainers preferred.
• •Florida licensed or eligible.
• •Ability to travel and work evenings, weekends and some holidays. --Ability to forge a working relationship with college level athletics and coaches.
