What that actually feels like day to day: we're 300+ people, moving at a speed that surprises most people who join us. Products ship in weeks, not quarters. There's no thick layer of process between an idea and it going live. You'll own things visibly bigger than your title. Some experiments will fail publicly, and we'll talk about them openly on Monday.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Assistant/ Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts to own the financial backbone of GrowthSchool.

This is a blended Accounting and Finance role.

You'll be responsible for ensuring our books are always accurate, compliant, audit-ready, and capable of supporting a fast-scaling global business. You'll work closely with leadership to establish strong financial governance while continuously improving systems, controls, and processes.

What You'll Own

Group Accounting & Financial Close

• •Maintain accurate books of accounts on a daily basis and report to management.
• •Own end-to-end monthly book closure across all GrowthSchool group entities.
• •Ensure accurate accounting of GLs, accruals, provisions, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and inter-company transactions.
• •Prepare schedules required for consolidation and group reporting.
• •Drive timely month-end and year-end closing with zero surprises.

Business Partnership

• •Work closely with Finance leadership on reporting, governance and strategic finance initiatives.
• •Provide accurate financial information to enable faster business decisions.
• •Support new business initiatives from an accounting and compliance perspective.
• •Help build a finance function capable of supporting global expansion.

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)

• •Daily accounting and reporting without errors
• •Monthly books are closed accurately and on time without escalations.
• •Zero missed statutory or regulatory compliance deadlines.
• •Clean statutory and tax audits with no material observations.
• •Leadership has complete confidence in financial reporting.
• •Strong internal controls and accounting processes are implemented across group entities.
• •Finance operations scale seamlessly alongside business growth.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• •Are a CA / CMA.
• •Have 2–6 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, and statutory compliance.
• •Have managed end-to-end books for growing organizations.
• •Have worked closely with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
• •Enjoy solving operational complexity through structured processes.
• •Are hands-on, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.

Experience in startups or high-growth companies will be an added advantage.
