  • Provost & Pritchard is looking for a motivated candidate to join our Geostructural team. Our Geostructural division works on wine cave tunnel complexes, private residential tunnels, water-district tunnels and canals, and earth-retention structures.

Duties

Candidates must show an understanding of basic civil engineering principles and be able to apply their knowledge in a practical manner.

Perform engineering calculations for tunnel and retaining wall design with the support of and under the direction of a licensed engineer

Assist in the preparation of construction drawings using AutoCAD

Prepare design reports

Perform construction inspections

Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by designated personnel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering

0-3 years of experience preparing engineering calculations and conducting research

Experience with AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus

Written and oral communication skills

Exceptional problem-solving skills

Team player with service-oriented (client focused) mentality

Motivated self-starter

EIT obtained or in progress highly desired

Goal to become a licensed professional engineer within 3 years of hire
