Assistant Finance Analyst Italian Speaking (6 month FTC)

To support compliance with upcoming Italian legislation effective January 2025, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and traceability of Out-of-Pocket (OOP) employee expense claims.

What you’ll do:

Manually review and validate employee OOP expense claims submitted via SAP Concur.

Ensure each claim meets Italian legal requirements for traceability and documentation.

Investigate anomalies or inconsistencies in claims and liaise with employees for clarification.

Respond to queries related to expense submissions and compliance requirements.

Escalate potential non-compliant items or recurring issues to management.

Support audit preparation and documentation, ensuring clean records are maintained.

Contribute to the successful transition to AI automation by helping define patterns or anomalies.

Ad-hoc project work, as and when required

What you’ll bring:

Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) – mandatory

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Experience with SAP Concur or similar expense management systems

Prior experience in finance, compliance, or shared services operations preferred not essential

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy
