Responsibilities:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Benefits professional to manage employee insurance and benefits programmes for Singapore-based employees.

The role will lead insurance renewals, benefits administration, claims analysis and vendor management. The incumbent will also support the Singapore Employee Handbook and selected Corporate HR policies, while driving process improvement and digital enablement initiatives within Corporate HR.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Benefits & Insurance

  • Manage employee insurance and benefits programmes, including annual renewals, benefits administration and vendor management.
  • Review coverage, claims experience, premiums and market practices to ensure programmes remain competitive and cost effective.
  • Provide guidance to employees and HR stakeholders on benefits-related matters and coordinate implementation of approved benefit enhancements.

Claims Analytics & Benefits Review

  • Analyse claims and utilisation trends, identify key risk areas and recommend improvements.
  • Work with brokers and insurers on claims reviews, benchmarking exercises and benefit optimisation initiatives.
  • Prepare management updates and recommendations on insurance and benefits matters.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with brokers, insurers and healthcare providers to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Partner with HR, Finance and relevant stakeholders on benefits administration, governance and renewal activities.

HR Policies & Governance

  • Review and maintain the Singapore Employee Handbook and selected Corporate HR policies.
  • Support policy updates, regulatory reviews, employee communications and governance documentation.

Process Improvement & Digital Enablement

  • Support continuous improvement of benefits and policy processes through automation, analytics and AI-enabled tools.
  • Support the development of practical dashboards, trackers and reporting solutions to improve efficiency, governance and decision-making.
  • Support Corporate HR projects relating to benefits, policy and employee experience.

Payroll Administration

  • Process and monitor bi-weekly payroll activities for US payroll, verify Switzerland payroll.
  • Prepare payroll, tax and allowance breakdowns for Finance booking and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and finance to resolve payroll, tax, deduction and payment issues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
  • 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in employee benefits, insurance or total rewards.
  • Strong hands-on experience in employee insurance and benefits administration.
  • Experience in insurance renewal, claims review and vendor management.
  • Good analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with reporting, process improvement and digital tools would be advantageous.
  • Able to work independently in a lean corporate environment.
