Job Description:

• •Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions.
• •Demonstrates critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations.
• •Fosters a culture of psychological safety, where the team members feel supported, valued, empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully.
• •Promotes evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning.
• •Provides ongoing education and training to nursing staff to maintain high competency levels.
• •Conducts regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns and provide guidance.
• •Prepares the unit for audits and surveys, by monitoring and maintaining unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, hospital policies while coordinating staff education to maintain competencies and preparedness.
• •Manages nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
• •Manages budgets and resources efficiently to meet financial and operational goals.
• •Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing service programs to ensure quality nursing and patient care.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Must be a mature, self-motivated and self-driven individual who has learned is an excellent self-leader. [Required]

• •Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• •Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $34.32 - $63.84
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
