The Department of Finance in the College of Business at the University of Louisville seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 1, 2027. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct high-quality research publishable in elite finance journals; teach undergraduate and graduate courses in corporate finance, investments, derivatives, and other courses in finance; and to provide professional and university services. Salary and research support are competitive.

Qualifications

Candidates are expected to have completed a Ph.D. degree in Finance not later than August 1, 2027. Candidates must demonstrate high potential for scholarly research and quality teaching.

The College of Business serves more than 2,800 students with BSBA, MBA, Master of Accountancy, Master of Science in Business Analytics, and a PhD in Entrepreneurship degrees.
