- Job Overview:
- The Associate Product Manager, Marketing Technology supports the vision, strategy, and delivery of T-Mobile's marketing tools and platforms. Every product in this space is built to achieve a specific business outcome — enabling marketing teams to reach the right customers, with the right message, at the right time. The Associate PM contributes to that work by helping identify opportunities, translating requirements into actionable work for engineering teams, and supporting delivery across the product lifecycle. At a high level, this means partnering with senior product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand marketing team needs, assess technical feasibility, and help drive execution against the roadmap.
- Product Associate PM role is well-suited for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop product instincts in a technical domain. You will work closely with senior product managers, engineers, data teams, and marketing operations partners — learning how marketing technology platforms are built, maintained, and continuously improved. This role grows into full product ownership as skills and experience develop. No two days look the same: you might spend one morning researching a competitor's tooling approach and the next afternoon translating marketing team feedback into user stories for an engineering sprint’s lives.
- Typical responsibilities include conducting research on marketing tools and vendor capabilities; documenting product requirements and user stories; supporting backlog management; helping track product performance metrics; and partnering with development, marketing operations, and data teams to support delivery and releases.

- Attends meetings with external third parties to gain a better understanding of partnerships and licensing opportunities.
- Builds working knowledge of marketing technology tools, platforms, and industry practices — including how tools like campaign management systems, customer data platforms, and marketing automation products function and how vendors in this space differ. Brings relevant findings back to the team to inform roadmap decisions.

- Assists with maintaining and updating product backlog and priorities with partners.
- Scopes and prioritizes activities based on business and customer impact.
- Assists with beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
- Assists in preparing product documents and product use cases to drive product activity.
