The US Insights & Analytics (I&A) organization engineers the optimal decision environment for the US business by orchestrating, integrating, and synthesizing insights and analytics across therapeutic areas, functions, and the enterprise. Reporting into the Dir, I&A Excellence, the AD, I&A Excellence is central to running the operating machinery of that organization day to day.

The Associate Director, I&A Excellence executes and administers I&A-wide demand management – operating the intake, tracking, aggregation, and reporting processes through which business demand enters I&A, is de-duplicated, and is routed to the right pillar or capability. The role prepares the analysis and materials that enable prioritization and trade-off decisions to be taken by the Dir, I&A Excellence and the I&A Leadership Team, maintains the documentation of how I&A operates, and produces the dashboards and reporting that make I&A’s service levels and throughput visible.

Success in this role is defined by operational reliability: a process that runs consistently, data that stakeholders trust, decision materials that are ready when needed, and follow-through that closes the loop on commitments made.

  • Day-to-day operator of the I&A demand management process – running intake, tracking, aggregation, and status reporting under the standards set by the Dir, I&A Excellence.
  • Maintains the artifacts of the I&A operating model: process documentation, stakeholder contracts, interface definitions, and RACI frameworks.
  • Builds credibility and influence with pillar teams and cross-functional counterparts through consistent, reliable execution rather than positional authority.

Minimum 6+ years of experience in insights, analytics, business operations, program management, strategy, or management consulting within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred

Experience working with senior stakeholders and preparing materials for leadership forums

Experience building and maintaining operational dashboards and reporting to track service levels, throughput, and delivery performance

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working within a program office / center of excellence in a commercial, medical, or analytics organization. Experience supporting launch planning or launch excellence within pharmaceuticals
  • Vendor management or sourcing support experience, including performance tracking and spend analysis
  • Experience operating through a large-scale organizational transformation or operating model redesign Experience working with offshore capability hubs and globally distributed delivery teams
