By joining this team, you’ll help shape systems that support thousands of employees worldwide, driving innovation and reliability in the tools that keep GSK moving forward.

Job Purpose:

· The Associate Director - Tech Product Owner (ePI) provides product leadership for Electronic Product Information, translating business strategy and user needs into a clear product vision, measurable outcomes, and an actionable roadmap. Role leads cross-functional delivery across the product lifecycle, making evidence-based decisions within strategic, financial, risk, and architectural guardrails.

· The Associate Director - Tech Product Owner (ePI) works with delivery teams to ensure requirements are clear, value-driven, and data-informed, while overseeing iterative delivery that improves product performance, adoption, and operational readiness

Key Responsibilities:

· Create, own, and communicate the product vision and multi-year roadmap, translating strategic priorities, user needs, regulatory requirements, technical dependencies, and investment constraints into sequenced outcomes.

· Build and manage effective relationships with business stakeholders, regulatory teams and external partners; understand their needs, translate them into clear product outcomes and requirements, and maintain alignment throughout delivery.

· Own and manage the Product backlog, ensuring requirements (e.g., epics, features, user stories) are well-defined and supported by minimum data inputs (e.g., cost drivers, user volumes, risk/sensitivity, process impact, dependencies).

· Lead your team in using approved AI tools to improve productivity and ways of working, including discovery, backlog refinement and requirements drafting. Role-model responsible use, ensure AI-assisted outputs are reviewed before acceptance, and follow GSK’s Responsible AI, privacy and security requirements.

· Make prioritisation decisions for the Product backlog based on value, cost, risk, business continuity, and resource capacity, escalating only where strategic trade-offs are required.

· Lead the Product team’s delivery activities. Build shared understanding of the product vision and roadmap, resolve ambiguity and competing priorities, and guide the team toward solutions that are fit-for-purpose, secure, compliant, supportable, and aligned with architectural standards.

· Drive operational readiness by applying a delivery readiness checklist covering support model requirements, training needs, continuity planning, configuration/runbook documentation, release notes, and user onboarding.

· Define and maintain the Product performance dashboard, tracking adoption, cycle time/throughput, stability/defects, and support effort; use performance insights to drive continuous improvement.

· Ensure product changes follow required security controls, risk assessments, data handling policies, and regulated change processes, obtaining approvals from relevant SMEs where required.

· Ensure the product and its changes comply with applicable GxP requirements, including computerised system validation, data integrity, controlled documentation, and regulated change control, obtaining approval from relevant quality and compliance SMEs where required.

· Lead technical deep dives with Engineers, Solution Architects, security specialists, and vendors to evaluate solution options, constraints, dependencies, scalability, supportability, and total cost of ownership. Use this analysis to make or recommend evidence-based product decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and ensure technical choices remain aligned with the product vision, enterprise architecture, regulatory requirements, and long-term roadmap.

· Act as an escalation point for the Product team and business users on functional product issues, guiding decisions within agreed financial, risk, and architectural guardrails.

· Own product-level financial planning and control within agreed guardrails, including budget forecasting, cost tracking, investment proposals, vendor spend, and benefits realisation. Provide transparent financial reporting, identify variances and cost pressures early, and recommend trade-offs to maximise product value and maintain alignment with portfolio priorities.

Basic Requirements:

· Experience developing PoCs, PoVs, MVPs, and business value validation models.

· Proven stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex business, regulatory, and technology topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

· Experience delivering and supporting digital products in a GxP-regulated environment, with practical knowledge of computerized system validation, data integrity, controlled documentation, risk management, and regulated change control.
