Associate eLearning Specialist

Position Summary:

The Associate eLearning Specialist will be responsible for creating online content for Globus Medical, both domestically and internationally, for multiple divisions including, but not limited to: Spine, Trauma, Total Joints, INR (Imaging, Navigation and Robotics), Nevro and IT. In this role, you will help train learners throughout the world by reinforcing the principles of adult learning and instructional design provided in an eLearning platform. An eLearning developer always has to keep the end-users in mind to create intuitive layouts, clear instructions and simple presentations.

The Spine Sales Training program trains on three key pillars: clinical knowledge, technical expertise, and sales skills. The training and assessment of the skills to achieve these pillars are delivered through various training programs.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• •Develop high-quality eLearning courses in a fast-paced environment targeted to support product launch deadlines
• •Utilize principles of instructional design and adult learning concepts
• •Develop relationships with Subject Matter Experts and Sales Trainers/Management (both US and International), to determine current and future training needs
• •Maintain users, courses, and retention of records within the eLearning Management System
• •Assess and evaluate training courses bi-annually to determine their accuracy
• •Film and edit videos demonstrating procedural steps and key instrumentation and assembly
• •Delegate the audio requirements to the Subject Matter Expert responsible for the project
• •Prepare training materials with the Subject Matter Expert to accurately reflect the indications per country for the Regulatory review process
• •Collaborate with the Senior eLearning Designer to align with the current goals and objectives intermittently thoroughly the project timeline
• •Assist with eLearning login/navigation troubleshooting
• •Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
• •Representing the company in a professional manner and upholding the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus

Qualifications and Requirements:

• •Bachelor’s degree required in multimedia design, instructional design, or computer programming
• •Experience in LMS administration preferred
• •Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs
• •Experience with editing graphics and videos
• •Familiarity of Adobe Creative Suite editing tools and apps
• •Flexibility in managing changing priorities and moving deadlines while maintaining progress across multiple projects
• •Strong interpersonal skills
• •Excellent listening and communication capabilities, both written and verbal
• •Enthusiasm and a positive mindset
• •Passion for learning
