Job Summary**

We are seeking an Assistant Calibration Engineer to support the calibration and maintenance of test equipment at Jabil Circuit India Private Limited. This role involves assisting with calibration procedures, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Job Responsibilities**

• * Assist in performing routine calibration, verification, and adjustment of a wide range of electronic and mechanical test equipment according to established procedures and industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025).
• * Document calibration results accurately and maintain comprehensive calibration records and certificates.
• * Support the troubleshooting and repair of faulty test equipment under the guidance of senior engineers.
• * Assist in the development and improvement of calibration procedures and methodologies.
• * Ensure all calibration activities are performed in compliance with Jabil's quality management system and relevant regulatory requirements.
• * Maintain a clean and organized calibration lab environment.
• * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• * Participate in internal and external audits related to calibration activities.
• * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

• * Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
• * 0-2 years of experience in calibration or a related technical role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• * Basic understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and metrology.
• * Familiarity with various types of test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, force gauges, and temperature sensors.
• * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• * Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• * Good communication and teamwork skills.
• * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
