Associate Investment Strategist (Content Architecture)

Job Description:

Dimensional’s Investment Solutions Group (ISG) acts as a source of specialized investment knowledge that delivers thought leadership, education and analysis to our clients through face-to-face interactions and compelling, informative content.

Within ISG, the Content Architecture team focuses on the development of infrastructure to support consistent and scalable content creation as well as repeated analytics. These efforts include a focus on developing well documented data models for creation of an end-to-end analytics ecosystem in Snowflake that can serve all types of content such as slide creation, ad-hoc analysis, power BI dashboards, and reporting. This role will serve as a key contributor to automation efforts throughout ISG.

Responsibilities:

• •Collect, organize and analyze data from various internal and external databases.
• •Contribute to system design of projects with technology stakeholders.
• •Aid in the design and maintenance of competitor and industry analysis.
• •Deliver communications to management on project status and updates.
• •Serve as a liaison to our internal stakeholders, translating business requirements to technical requirements.
• •Ensure consistent documentation and process standards are upheld across projects.
• •Drive efficiencies in data ingestion and modeling, as well as content automation.
• •Maintain a pulse on industry best practices of our systems and processes.
• •Continue to promote innovation and learning opportunities.
• •Help foster an environment for junior members of the team to ask questions.

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field. Masters and/or CFA are a plus.
• •5+ years of experience in a related role and a strong understanding of the investment industry, data systems, and automation best practices.
• •Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• •Experience with any of the following: Snowflake, SQL, DBT, Jinja2, Python, R, HTML, GitHub, Power BI.
• •Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem solve.
• •Motivated to continue learning in a hands-on environment.
