Associate Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA or LMFTA)
Compensation: $52-$57.20 per hour; paid bi-weekly
Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time or W-2 Part-Time Employee
Location: This is an in-person position based out of Maple Valley, WA
Role Summary
- An Associate Mental Health Therapist with Dayspring Behavioral Health provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team. - Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, associate therapists will:
- Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
- Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
- Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Maintain a minimum active caseload of 16 clients per week required (both in person and online)
- Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
- Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
- Attend weekly supervision meetings
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $52-$57.20 per hour; paid bi-weekly

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license: LMHCA or LMFTA in Washington State
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Ability to maintain adequate Professional Liability Insurance coverage
- Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
- Ability to provide therapy independently
- Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
- Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.); strong preference for therapists interested in working with ages 9 through adulthood
- Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
