Associate Project Manager
Role Overview
The Associate Project Manager supports the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team within US Operations, partnering with senior leaders to drive organizational improvement initiatives. This role combines project management, continuous improvement, and data analysis to help deliver projects focused on operational efficiency, process optimization, change management, and business performance.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys coordinating projects, working with data, and identifying opportunities to improve processes through Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple organizational effectiveness projects by developing project plans, tracking milestones, managing action items, and coordinating project activities.
- Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, monitor risks and dependencies, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
- Analyze workflows, conduct process mapping, capacity assessments, and operational reviews to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to measure project outcomes, track KPIs, and quantify productivity gains and cost savings.
- Develop dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive-ready materials to communicate project progress and business impact.
- Support change management activities by helping assess project impacts and building awareness and adoption across teams.
- Maintain project documentation, Smartsheet trackers, and reporting tools while ensuring adherence to established processes and standards.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, business operations, process improvement, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with data, metrics, and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
- English proficiency required.
Preferred Skills & Tools
- Smartsheet (strongly preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience creating dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive presentations
- Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Six Sigma / Lean certification preferred
- Interest in emerging technologies and AI-enabled productivity tools
