Job Description Summary
The Associate Service Finance Analyst supports the regional Finance team in delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and operational finance support for the after-sales services business (the "Service organization"). The role reports into the Global Markets Service Income Leader with a dotted line to the regional Service Senior Finance Manager.
The role provides strong exposure to forecasting, budgeting, closing activities and cost analysis. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop core FP&A skills in a dynamic, international environment within GE HealthCare.

Job Description
Roles and responsibilities
As the Associate Service Finance Analyst, you will partner with finance managers to support financial planning, analysis, reporting, and closing activities for the Service organization. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Financial reporting & data extraction
- Extract, validate and analyze financials on a regular basis from multiple systems.
- Provide insights via reports and dashboards to the Service Finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Cost tagging & performance analysis
- Tag and classify actual fixed costs and SG&A expenses by nature.
- Prepare structured summaries to support monthly and quarterly variance analysis and financial reviews.
- Prepare data summary of O&U profitability order by order and by P&L line.
Headcount tracking & reporting
- Prepare monthly headcount movement reports.
- Support financial planning through accurate tracking of workforce-related cost drivers.
Closing & accounting support
- Prepare and book Manual Journal Entries (MJEs) for a predefined set of recurring transactions during closing cycles.
- Support finance teams in ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes.
Business Intelligence & Power BI
- Maintain and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Support report automation and process simplification initiatives.
· Ensure reporting models and datasets remain accurate and up to date.
Ad hoc analysis & projects
- Support zone-specific initiatives and finance projects. Respond to business requests such as historical account trending and performance analysis.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting and analytical processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field from a university or college preferred.
- Financial work experience.
- Fluency in English.

- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers and provide insights into opportunities to improve the business.
- Clear thinking / problem-solving: successfully lead projects / process improvements within operations / finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas, breakdown problems, identify solutions and implement solutions.
- Adaptable / Flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and / or to work in ambiguous situations.
- Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems / applications, strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation.
- Power BI: experience with building / updating / using Power BI dashboards
- Strong oral and written communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
