Title and Summary
Associate Specialist, Cross-Border Payment Operations
- Overview:
- Support the daily operations of our payment processes, ensuring the documented data is accurate. The candidate should have a foundational understanding of the payments industry and have a proactive approach to operational tasks.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operational task of collating data on the payout partners and ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor transaction flows to identify and address issues promptly
- Identify and resolve payment-related issues and discrepancies, escalating complex cases as needed
- Accurately enter and maintain transaction data in relevant systems
- Assist customer service teams with payment-related inquiries and escalations, providing timely and accurate information
- Perform specific and time-boxed tasks in support of business goals to deliver new existing products
- Draft and contribute to the development of internal and external implementation documents and process flows
- Support initiatives aimed at improving payment processes and operational efficiency
- Experiences and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written interactions with global stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payment operations, payment processing, banking back-office operations, or financial services operations.
- Experience in the payments industry, particularly in cross-border payments, international money transfers, or remittance services, is highly desirable.
- Experience working in banks, fintechs, payment processors, or other financial institutions is preferred.
- Availability to work from the office at least 3 days per week.
