The Sports Marketing Associate will support the Mexico Sports team in the development, coordination, execution, and optimization of sports marketing initiatives across the region. This role will play a key part in campaign planning, project management, performance reporting, and cross-functional alignment, helping ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
The Associate will work closely with Marketing, Creative Services, Media, Social, PR, Content, Product, Research & Engagement, and local market teams to provide visibility into campaign status, support decision-making through data and insights, and contribute to the successful execution of major sports properties across Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Project Management
- Manage and maintain regional campaign trackers, timelines, planning calendars, and project documentation.
- Coordinate campaign milestones, deliverables, approvals, and dependencies across multiple stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or roadblocks.
- Ensure visibility of campaign status, priorities, and upcoming deliverables across LATAM markets.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a key point of coordination between Marketing, Creative, Media, Social, PR, Content, Product, and local market teams.
- Facilitate follow-up on action items, deadlines, and approvals.
- Support recurring planning and campaign review forums through agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Consolidate campaign performance metrics across platforms and markets.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate campaign results and key learnings.
- Analyze marketing performance data and identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Support post-campaign reviews and recommend optimizations for future initiatives.
Strategic Planning Support
- Contribute to the development of seasonal marketing plans and campaign roadmaps.
- Assist in evaluating campaign priorities, resource allocation, and regional opportunities.
- Help identify best practices and learnings across LATAM markets.
- Prepare executive presentations, planning documents, status updates, and meeting materials.
Budget & Operational Support
- Track campaign budgets, purchase orders, and project-related expenses.
- Support budget reconciliation and reporting activities.
- Maintain organized documentation, planning resources, and shared repositories.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, project management, media, sports marketing, or related functions.
- Strong passion for sports, entertainment, and digital media.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience working in sports, media, streaming, entertainment, or agency environments.
- Experience with campaign management tools, project trackers, and reporting dashboards.
- Familiarity with sports marketing campaigns, content marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of major sports properties and the LATAM sports landscape.
