About the Role

The part-time Associate Producer will assist in producing and independently editing video stories featuring The Athletic’s reporters on Saturday and Sunday evenings . The AP will also work across teams, including working with highlights and social video. A solid background in video editing and visual journalism is required, as well as an interest in all sports The Athletic covers. This is not an on camera position.

Job responsibilities could also include logging video into our centralized archive system. Nights and weekends are required.

This role is 100% remote for candidates currently resign in the United States.

This role has part time hours with a contract through 12/31/2026.

The hourly rate will fall between $24.00 and $29.00 depending on experience.
