Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

• •Develop detailed electrical designs for 33kV transmission lines, including route selection, line configuration, and material specification.
• •Conduct load flow and short circuit analysis to ensure the design meets operational and safety standards.
• •Collaborate with civil engineers to integrate electrical design with site civil works and structures.

Installation and Commissioning:

• •Supervise the installation of 33kV power lines, substations, and related electrical equipment.
• •Coordinate with contractors and ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project timelines.
• •Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify proper operation and compliance with design specifications.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• •Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the 33kV power lines and associated infrastructure.
• •Perform regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
• •Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve any electrical faults or outages.

Compliance and Documentation:

• •Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• •Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including design drawings, installation records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
• •Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication:

• •Work closely with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• •Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and address any electrical engineering-related issues.

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• •Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE) is preferred.
• •Minimum of [7-10] years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with 33kV transmission lines or similar high-voltage systems.
• •Experience with wind power projects and knowledge of wind farm electrical systems is highly desirable.
• •Strong understanding of electrical design software and tools.
• •Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• •Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• •Strong communication and organizational skills.
