The Position

Automation Business Analyst

You will be part of RSS Analytics and Automation - a global team with regional presence in Switzerland, India, Costa Rica, Hungary and Malaysia. We operate in an agile organizational set-up without extensive hierarchical structure, where it is expected that all our employees lead from every seat. The Opportunity

As an Automation Business Analyst within Roche Services and Solutions (RSS), you will empower teams by shaping and delivering impactful automation solutions from early ideation through operational success.

• •Drive Early Opportunity Assessment: Partner closely with regional automation business partners to identify, evaluate, and prioritize early-stage automation ideas, ensuring the most promising opportunities are selected.
• •Map & Document End-to-End Processes: Elicit detailed business requirements and map both AS-IS and TO-BE processes with clarity and precision.
• •Bridge Strategy & Delivery: Collaborate directly with Automation Developers, Product Owners, and regional stakeholders throughout the design, testing (UAT), deployment, and hypercare phases.
• •Enhance System & Process Performance: Identify systemic process bottlenecks and partner with cross-functional teams to implement meaningful technical and operational changes.
• •Maintain Portfolio Documentation: Keep living documentation up to date for all active projects and deployed solutions so that our automation portfolio continuously reflects changing business needs.
• •Foster Culture & Innovation: Actively contribute to an agile, collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment, promoting an active feedback culture and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

• •Experienced Business Analyst: You bring proven experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and end-to-end process mapping (AS-IS/TO-BE) in an agile or continuous improvement environment.
• •Effective Communicator & Facilitator: You excel at engaging process experts and regional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• •Analytical Problem Solver: You have strong critical thinking skills with a track record of identifying process gaps and delivering practical solutions.
• •Agile Collaborator: You thrive in cross-functional team environments alongside developers, product owners, and business leaders, with a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and mutual feedback.
