Automation Test Engineer (2–4 Years Experience)

Job Summary

Lumel is seeking skilled Automation Test Engineers with 2 to 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation frameworks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• •Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• •Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure product quality.
• •Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
• •Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation framework improvements.
• •Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
• •Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation.
• •Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• •2–4 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• •Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
• •Proficiency in programming languages like Java / Python / JavaScript.
• •Experience with test frameworks like TestNG / JUnit / Mocha.
• •Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• •Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman / REST Assured).
• •Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
• •Experience in version control systems like Git.
• •Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Knowledge of performance testing tools
• •Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) is an advantage.
• •Basic understanding of database testing (SQL queries).
• •Experience in BI/Data Analytics testing is a plus.
