Description

Service Porter - Dealership

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Porter to join our dynamic automotive dealership team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be the first point of contact for our service department, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our customers and supporting our service team in daily operations. If you are energetic, organized, and eager to grow within the automotive industry, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the service department

- Assist with the movement of vehicles within the dealership, including parking, staging, and retrieving vehicles for service or delivery

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer areas

- Support service technicians and advisors by delivering parts, tools, and documents as needed

- Ensure vehicles are properly inspected and prepared for service appointments

- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status and service updates

- Follow dealership safety and operational procedures at all times

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work well as part of a team

- Prior experience in a dealership or automotive environment is a plus but not required
