Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Engineer to join our Aviation Central Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Houston, TX .

Your Role

• •Develop plans and drawings.
• •Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
• •Research project site conditions, and regulatory agency specifications.
• •Contribute to the development of specifications and permit applications.
• •Prepare preliminary cost estimates.
• •Collaborating alongside experienced engineers to assist in various operations production of engineering drawings for airport and airport-related civil engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, roadways, parking lots, and supporting infrastructure.
• •Perform other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

About You

• •EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years’ experience in a related technical field
• •EDUCATION: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
• •SPECIAL SKILLS:
• •Must have good computer skills and be able to utilize standard office software.
• •Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred).

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: E.I.T. preferred.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $65,00 - $85,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
