The Opportunity

As an Amazon Web Services, Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Director, you will lead client engagements focused on cloud infrastructure and network architecture, shaping solutions that streamline integration, improve connectivity, and support technology performance. As a Director you will set strategic direction, drive business growth, and guide executive-level relationships while mentoring teams and promoting a culture where quality, integrity, inclusion, and commercial thinking guide decision-making. In this role at PwC, you will bring together cloud architecture, AWS deployment, IT operations, and network design to help clients modernize infrastructure, resolve complex technical challenges, and move technology programs forward within our Advisory practice.

Responsibilities

- Leading AWS cloud infrastructure and network architecture engagements from strategy through delivery

- Shaping client technology roadmaps and defining target states for cloud and platform transformation

- Developing AWS-based infrastructure designs across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and security controls

- Directing migration planning, platform modernization, and network integration activities across complex environments

- Reviewing architecture frameworks, technical designs, and operating models to align with client goals

- Guiding IT operations, service management, and troubleshooting activities for cloud and network platforms

- Identifying opportunities to apply AWS services, cloud computing, and DevOps practices to improve delivery outcomes

- Coaching teams on platform engineering, architecture decisions, and technical issue resolution

- Building executive-level client relationships and advancing business development opportunities in the technology market

- Driving collaboration across internal teams to shape scalable solutions for technology, media, and telecommunications clients

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree

- At least 9 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure consulting with demonstrated AWS program leadership

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering

- At least one of the following: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Advanced AWS certifications

- Master's of Science or an MBA is preferred

- Demonstrated credibility within the AWS partner ecosystem

- Achieving AWS competencies, specializations, or partner designations through prior alliance and capability-building efforts

- Demonstrating industry expertise across cloud transformation and client delivery

- Demonstrating AWS cloud infrastructure architecture design for client solutions

- Leading cloud and network architecture initiatives across multiple engagements

- Building executive client relationships and business growth opportunities

- Mentoring teams while driving thought leadership and innovation

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
