As an Azure+Databricks+Snowflake Engineering Manager, you will lead the charge in transforming data landscapes within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. You will be at the forefront of client engagements, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies to drive data modernization initiatives. As a Manager, you will guide teams through strategic planning and execution, fostering a culture of mentorship and development. Your role will involve analyzing complex data challenges, implementing innovative solutions, and maintaining consistent quality standards across projects.

Responsibilities

• - Leading the design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions using Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake platforms
• - Managing data integration and transformation processes to support client data modernization initiatives
• - Overseeing the development and optimization of data pipelines and workflows, confirming efficient data flow and processing
• - Guiding teams in the application of data architecture development and database management systems
• - Utilizing Apache Airflow and Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) for orchestrating complex data workflows
• - Implementing data quality and validation measures to maintain data integrity and reliability
• - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives
• - Coaching and mentoring junior staff to enhance their technical skills and professional growth
• - Promoting the adoption of innovative data engineering practices and technologies within the team
• - Analyzing and optimizing database performance and query execution for improved efficiency

What You Must Have

• - At least a Bachelor's degree
• - At least 8 years of experience
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required

• - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
