B Shift Heavy Skill Operator - Logansport Plant (New Hires Only) November 2026

Job Details:

These positions require advanced skills and experience in a production environment.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Examples of positions include, but not limited to: Mule Driver, Forklift Operator, Trayformer Operator.

Essential Job Functions:

• •Perform skilled processing tasks involving pork products and product handling.
• •Safely operate forklifts, and other processing or material-handling equipment, as required by the position.
• •Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
• •Move, transport, and handle products and materials throughout the production process.

Work Environment:

• •Work is performed in a manufacturing/processing environment that may be wet, humid, cold, hot, or otherwise variable.
• •Temperatures may range from approximately 35°F to over 100°F, depending on the work area.

Physical Demands:

• •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete or other hard surfaces.
• •Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive use of hands and arms.
• •May require climbing ladders and working from elevated platforms.
• •Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials as required by the position, including lifting up to 150 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 140 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements:

2 Months' work history with the same employer. Production experience in a meat processing facility is preferred.
