Back Up Transfer Truck Driver/ Warehouse Associate PM Shift

Description

We are a growing national service company seeking a dependable and motivated Backup Transfer Truck Driver-CLASS B/ Warehouse Associate to join our PM shift team. This role is essential to supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution activities within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate a 26-foot box truck when needed.

Schedule & Compensation

• •Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• •Pay Rate:
• •$28.00/hour during warehouse activities
• •$29.00/hour when operating the transfer truck

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• •Coordinate and execute distribution activities, including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned or damaged goods, and related administrative tasks.
• •Ensure shipping schedules are met, and customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
• •Receive, unload, stage, and organize inbound and outbound shipments.
• •Verify all inbound and outbound paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• •Count, verify, and document inventory entering and leaving the facility.
• •Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
• •Optimize dock space utilization and warehouse organization.
• •Complete required reports and records accurately and in a timely manner.
• •Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and security.
• •Monitor equipment and facility conditions and report issues as needed.
• •Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
• •Operate a 26-foot box truck as needed to support transfer and distribution activities. CLASS B REQUIRED!
• •Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications

• •Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. CLASS B REQUIRED!
• •Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• •Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and warehouse technology.
• •Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• •Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• •Ability to travel overnight when required.
• •Ability to maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
