Band Saw Operator, 2nd Shift

Description

Responsibilities not limited to:

• •Saw Operator
• •Machine Operator

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• •Ability to follow and carryout verbal and written instructions
• •Ability to operate an overhead crane (preferred but not required)

Competencies

• •Ability to work in an environment that produces excellent quality and quantity work
• •Ability to communicate – verbally and written

Requirements

Work Environment

• •Typical machine shop environment.
• •Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met.
• •Willing to be cross-trained on different machines

Requirements

• •High School diploma or GED
• •Physical strength to perform semi heavy and bulky manual labor

Physical Requirements

• •Able to stand for long periods of time
• •Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds unassisted
