THE JOB:
As a Banquet Bartender at Mandalay Bay, you will support exceptional event experiences by providing polished, efficient beverage service for conventions, banquets, and special events. You will prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean and organized bar, and work closely with the banquet team to keep service running smoothly. Your product knowledge, attention to detail, and welcoming hospitality will help create memorable experiences for every guest.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.23

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections available
Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending
Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Perform other job‐related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Is 21+ years of age
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years of experience in a bar or similar environment. Preferred
