THE JOB:

As a Barista/Fountain Worker at 3940 Coffee & Tea and Hazle Coffee at Mandalay Bay, you will set the stage for an exceptional guest experience through your welcoming smile and outstanding service. By understanding each guest's unique needs, you will take ownership of their experience and create memorable WOW moments that stay with them long after their visit to our resort and casino resort team members and guests alike.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.8812 + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Take and place orders, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately within the assigned work area as applicable
• •Collect money while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• •Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of both front and back of house areas; clear tables and counters, sweep, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
• •Pack and complete orders according to guests' preferences, including any necessary condiments
• •Properly label and date products in accordance with safety and sanitation procedures
• •Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment
• •Unload warehouse orders and stock designated storage areas while maintaining organization; stock and replenish products as needed at workstations, counters, tables, and other assigned areas
• •Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer matters to management and notify a supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
• •Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •High School Diploma or GED
• •21+ years of age or older
• •One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
• •Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
