As a Bartender , you play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by preparing high-quality cocktails and beverages with accuracy, efficiency, and care. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment while consistently following established recipes and service standards. Beyond the bar, you contribute to each guest’s overall dining experience through attentive, gracious service and by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace that reflects the excellence Ray’s on the River is known for.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, creating an inviting bar and lounge experience.
• •Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and menu items, offering thoughtful recommendations.
• •Accurately take and prepare food and beverage orders, ensuring timely and consistent delivery
• •Verify guest identification and responsibly serve alcohol in accordance with state laws and company policies
• •Use suggestive selling techniques in a natural, hospitality-driven way to enhance the guest experience
• •Build genuine, professional rapport with guests while maintaining a polished presence behind the bar
• •Build genuine, hospitable relationships with guests while maintaining a polished, professional presence.
• •Ensure alcohol is consumed only in approved areas and monitor guest consumption responsibly
• •Complete opening, running, and closing side work to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar
• •Work collaboratively with service and culinary teams to support smooth, seamless service
• •Participate in ongoing training, review shift notes, attend meetings, and consistently uphold company standards and policies

REQUIREMENTS:

• •Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
• •Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic restaurant schedule.
• •Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• •Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., bend, climb, and reach overhead.
• •Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
• •A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• •Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in service, mixology and order taking.
