The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. This role ensures accurate drink preparation, maintains bar cleanliness, promotes responsible alcohol service, and contributes to a welcoming and efficient bar environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• •High school diploma or equivalent required.
• •Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).

Experience

• •Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• •Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Skills & Knowledge

• •Strong customer service and communication skills.
• •Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• •Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
• •Understanding of responsible alcohol service and state/local regulations.
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• •Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.
• •Attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• •Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• •Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• •Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• •Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• •Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• •Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• •Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• •Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• •Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• •Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
