BARTENDER

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must. Ideal candidates will be available Thursday - Sunday 4pm to close availability

COMPENSATION

$19.50 Per Hour

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• •Must be at least 21 years of age
• •Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
• •Ensure a good Guest experience--present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages; take orders; promptly serve food and drink, and check in with Guests regarding their experience; up-sell whenever possible
• •Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS; Accept and process Guest payment and make the correct change as applicable.
• •Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant
• •Maintain inventory and bar supplies; assist in restocking and replenishing
• •Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area (counters, tables, equipment, floors, etc.) always
• •Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. Wash and sterilize glassware as needed

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• •High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
• •Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred

PHYSICAL

• •Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
• •Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
