Description

At Steel City Pizza Company, we believe the best bartenders don’t need to be convinced to care — they already do.

If you believe great bartending is about more than pouring drinks, and you want to work in a place that expects that mindset, we want to meet you.

If you take pride in your craft, enjoy creating great drinks, and genuinely like people, you’re probably who we’re looking for. We can teach recipes and systems. We can’t teach presence, ownership, or hospitality.

This role is for someone who sees the bar not just as a station, but as a business within the business — where every drink, interaction, and clean surface reflects who we are.

Who You Already Are

You’re service-driven and naturally take responsibility for the guest experience. You value teamwork and communicate clearly with the floor and kitchen. You bring steady enthusiasm — calm, focused, and confident when it’s busy.

You care about quality, consistency, speed, and cleanliness because that’s how you’re wired. You hold yourself to high standards and are always looking to get better.

You don’t wait to be told what needs attention. You see it — and you handle it.

What We Value

We value people who act like owners, not renters — who respect the craft, the guest, and the team. We value reliability, accountability, and pride in your work. The energy behind the bar sets the tone for the room, and we take that seriously.

What You’ll Get

A professional, fast-paced environment where standards matter. Leadership that respects competence and initiative. A team that takes hospitality seriously — and still has fun doing it.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll create excellent drinks consistently while delivering warm, confident hospitality at the bar. You’ll manage your bar top with professionalism and awareness, maintaining speed and accuracy during peak hours.
  • You’ll take ownership of setup, cleanliness, organization, and breakdown. You’ll follow recipes and portion standards, reduce waste, monitor inventory, and communicate needs proactively.
  • You’ll work closely with servers and the kitchen to keep service flowing and uphold Steel City Pizza Company standards for safety, cleanliness, and guest experience.
