Key Works provides comprehensive substance use disorder treatment and work skills training to help low-income, high-risk patients achieve sustained recovery and rebuild their lives. The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct care and support to residents in Key Works Long-Term Substance Use Disorder Treatment program. Ensures safety, supports treatment compliance, and assists with daily living activities.

Shifts: Grave Wednesday - Saturday 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

• •Perform regular safety checks and facility rounds.
• •Assist with housekeeping and ensure cleanliness.
• •Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs.
• •Complete all mandatory training, as scheduled and required to advance to Level 2.
• •Ensure property and resident safety through making rounds of all resident rooms throughout all shifts.
• •Read and understand Staff Handbook, and Resident Handbooks for both Long Term Recovery and Recovery House.
• •Model appropriate behavior, communication and dress code according to Key Works policies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent.
• •Basic knowledge of substance use disorders.
• •CPR/First Aid certification, within 30 days of hiring.
• •Valid WA driver’s license and clean driving record.
• •Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• •Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.

Work Environment:

• •Residential treatment facility with 24/7 operations.
• •May require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• •Exposure to individuals in various stages of recovery and withdrawal.
