- Translate business and analytical requirements into technical BI solutions, including subject areas, semantic models, calculations, filters, prompts, KPIs, dashboards, and reusable reporting components.
- Design and maintain database views, schemas, reporting structures, metadata, and data relationships needed to support enterprise analytics and self-service reporting.
- Develop and optimize SQL used for reporting, data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting across Oracle databases and warehouse structures.
- Support modernization of the on-premises BI and data warehouse environment to Oracle cloud analytics, including assessment, redesign, migration, validation, and transition of reports, dashboards, models, and supporting data assets.
- Analyze existing OAS and legacy BI content and recommend how to rationalize, redesign, consolidate, or migrate reports and dashboards to OAC while preserving business logic and data accuracy.
- Work with data engineers and database teams to understand source-to-target mappings, pipelines, transformations, dimensional models, data marts, and warehouse dependencies supporting analytics solutions.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems, warehouse layers, and BI outputs; investigate discrepancies and support root-cause analysis of reporting and data-quality issues.
- Design analytics solutions for performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, and secure access, including optimization of queries, joins, aggregates, filters, visualizations, and semantic logic.
- Participate in testing, defect resolution, migration, release, and change-management activities for BI and analytics assets across development, test, and production environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including report specifications, data mappings, semantic-model documentation, deployment procedures, migration inventories, and support guidance.
