About This Role...

The Medical Bill Review Associate (Coder) is responsible for accurately reviewing, analyzing, and processing various types of medical bills using the IQ Review System. The role ensures that bills are evaluated in accordance with applicable fee schedules, UCR guidelines, PPO network requirements, client instructions, and established quality standards. The position also maintains accurate provider and claim information, meets daily productivity expectations, and proactively identifies and communicates system or bill review issues to leadership. The Medical Bill Review Associate is expected to consistently deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work while supporting other duties and operational requirements as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

• •Encodes medical bills such as pharmacy, physical therapy, pathology, radiology, DME, anesthesia, med-legal, and other bills using IQ Review System.
• •Meet daily production quotas in analyzing and processing medical bill with prevailing fee schedule/UCR guidelines. Select proper PPO network based on client instructions.
• •Add or update Provider and Claim information as appropriate.
• •Know how to follow client instructions and other training material to proper review medical bills.
• •Provide quality review on work as specified by the Supervisor.
• •Proactively identify system and/or bill review issues and provide feedback to supervisors or manager.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

At least 2 years college level or higher

Able to work at any shift schedule.

Ability to work on a hybrid schedule while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Has knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel

Has knowledge in Medical Terminology such as CPT / ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding

With or without Experienced in Medical Bill Review

Proficiency with 10-Key by touch. Some typing ability.

Hours of Operation

Although CompIQ operates both Philippines day and night shifts, this role will predominately work local day shift hours with flexibility and requirement to ensure visibility with teams on alternative shifts as well as to join calls originating in US hours.
