Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst with German language to join our team. This person will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while providing financial insights to optimize revenue streams.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• •Language Skills: proficiency in both German and English (B2/C1 level).
• •Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Billing or Accounting department
• •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• •Proven experience in billing, accounting or financial analysis role
• •Strong understanding of billing principles, revenue recognition (US GAAP knowledge preferable)
• •Proficiency in financial software and G-Suite apps (G-Sheet especially)
• •Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• •Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• •Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• •Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle is a plus)
• •Understanding of customer’s web-portals
• •Ability to solve complex problems and identify best solution
• •Ability to work with tough deadlines

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• •Generate and review customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms
• •Analyse billing data to identify discrepancies or trends and implement corrective actions
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Care, Accounting and Operations) to resolve billing issues and improve processes
• •Maintain billing records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• •Prepare reports and analyses to track billing performance, revenue trends and key metrics
• •Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations from the billing systems and accruals
• •Provide support during audits and investigations related to billing practices
• •Develop and implement strategies to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency
• •Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to billing and revenue recognition
• •Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and provide support.
