Join Lonza’s Integrated Biologics team at our Tuas site in Singapore and contribute to the production of life-saving biologic medicines. As a Biotechnologist in our Mammalian Manufacturing operations, you will gain hands-on experience with advanced biotechnology processes while supporting the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins under cGMP conditions.

What you will do

Perform cGMP manufacturing operations including equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and batch documentation.

Operate mammalian cell culture processes including bioreactor monitoring of pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), CO₂/O₂ levels, and cell performance.

Execute downstream purification processes such as chromatography, filtration, and pH/conductivity adjustments.

Apply aseptic techniques for material handling and cell culture operations while maintaining cleanroom standards.

Utilize process control systems such as UNICORN and DeltaV and ensure accurate completion of SOPs, logbooks, and batch records.

Prepare buffers, media, and manufacturing solutions while supporting equipment setup and CIP activities.

Maintain facility and laboratory standards through sanitization and 6S housekeeping practices.

What we are looking for

Diploma or Degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Knowledge of biopharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environment is preferred.

Familiarity with cGMP practices and regulated manufacturing environments.

Positive team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work in a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
