Hall's Automotive Collision Center in Elizabeth City is growing, and we want to grow our talent as well. We are looking for an apprentice with some collision center / body shop experience, who would like to grow their skill set alongside our tenured team.

SUMMARY: As a Body Shop Apprentice you are responsible for assisting Body Shop Technicians in repairing damaged vehicle parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

• Summary:
• As a Body Shop Apprentice you are responsible for assisting Body Shop Technicians in repairing damaged vehicle parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

• Essential Duties:
• - Assist in vehicle tear down of damaged vehicles
• - Assist with repair of damaged vehicles
• - Coordinate with parts department to ensure proper parts are ordered and received
• - Maintain organized and clean shop

• Collision Center / Body Shop Apprentice Qualifications:
• - Interest in building a career in the body shop / collision industry

- Automotive trade school or collision center experience preferred

• - Welding and/or tear-down experience a plus
• - Valid driver’s license with 2 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years
• - Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• - Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
