  • Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs a variety of duties on and off the bottling line in the bottling department.
  • Prepares and inspects filled whiskey bottles for packing and shipping.
  • Operates all equipment on the bottling lines and fills in for other operators as needed.
  • Performs specific special online processes such as hand application of tags, corks, strip stamps, and shrink bands as well as cartooning.
  • Performs off-line work, which includes but is not limited to hand wrapping, hand packing, inspection, and cleaning.
  • Reworks non-conforming product.
  • Completes training to back up to any assigned bottling position such as inspector, depal, decaser, labeler, strip stamp operator, and others.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Able to learn to perform all of the functions above.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn to operate computerized equipment.
  • Willing to train and upgrade skills as necessary.
  • Able to read, write and perform basic math functions so as to complete necessary reports; understand; specifications, instructions, and other related documentation; and calculate quantities.
  • Must have good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity in order to manipulate cartons, bottles, stickers, labels and other production supplies.
  • Able to concentrate and pay attention to details for long periods of time in a distracting environment.
  • Able to frequently lift, move and carry cases of product and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Candidates must be willing to learn and capable of conforming to hygiene and sanitation requirements as described in the Brown-Forman Housekeeping and Sanitation Manual.
