Job Summary:

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of global sales operations strategies that align with organizational goals. Analyze market trends and sales data to produce accurate forecasts and recommendations. Ensure effective resource allocation, compliance with standards, and the adoption of best practices to enhance overall sales performance.

Main Accountabilities

  • Sales operations strategy implementation
  • Collaborate with senior management to design, implement, and monitor global sales operations strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's overall goals. Conduct comprehensive market assessments to understand global dynamics and adapt strategies to effectively capitalize on international market opportunities.
  • Sales forecasting
  • Lead the global sales forecasting process by gathering inputs from HUBs and regions. Analyze market trends to produce accurate global sales predictions. Regularly review and adjust forecasts to align with evolving business conditions and establish realistic performance expectations for the team.
  • Data quality
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of information in the quotation tools (SFDC), proactively identifying and addressing any discrepancies to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Sales performance analysis
  • Analyze global sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across regions. Utilize insights gained from this analysis to develop actionable recommendations that enhance global sales performance and drive results.
  • Sales reporting and insights
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management, highlighting global achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
  • Sales process optimization
  • Develop, refine, and enhance global sales processes and workflows to ensure the team operates with maximum efficiency and effectiveness across markets. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline operations, reduce administrative burdens, and enable sales representatives to focus on customer engagement.
  • Customer relationship management
  • Ensure the successful adoption and utilization of CRM tools and systems across the sales team. Monitor data integrity and sales activity tracking within the CRM, providing guidance and training to team members to maximize the effectiveness of these tools.
  • Sales compliance
  • Establish and maintain rigorous compliance standards within the global sales operations team, ensuring adherence to company policies, international regulations, and ethical guidelines. Develop, document, and communicate clear best practices for global sales processes, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence among team members.
  • People leadership and development
  • Lead, guide, and develop a diverse workforce, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Implement performance management and development practices to motivate and retain employees.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a global context.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales operations strategies that align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth.
  • Strong proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and processes, ensuring timely execution and adherence to performance metrics.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support sales initiatives, meet with customers, and participate in regional meetings and industry events.
