Ready to take your career global?
Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Business Analyst I to join our ever-evolving Business Analysis Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you’ll help translate business and client needs into clear system requirements that enable effective, secure, and user-focused technology solutions. Working alongside experienced Business Analysts, programmers, clients, and internal teams, you’ll build your expertise in requirements gathering, process design, testing, and implementation while helping improve business operations and the end-user experience. This is an opportunity to develop a strong foundation in business analysis, influence how systems evolve, and contribute to Global Payments’ mission by delivering technology solutions that support seamless commerce worldwide.
What you'll own:
- Translate business needs into clear requirements by gathering and analysing client information that helps teams design effective system solutions and improve operational outcomes.
- Enable successful system development by contributing accurate business specifications, process flows, screen definitions, and implementation requirements that align solutions with user expectations.
- Improve solution quality and client satisfaction by supporting system testing, validating intended functionality, and helping resolve issues before they affect implementation or the end-user experience.
- Strengthen process consistency and compliance by maintaining reliable documentation and supporting application standards, including payment card industry and security requirements.
- Support predictable project delivery by tracking progress, identifying potential schedule risks, and communicating timely information that helps stakeholders remain aligned.
What you'll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business needs, evaluate information, and develop clear, practical requirements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to gather information and collaborate with clients, technical teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with familiarity creating process flows using Visio or Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- A curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to follow established procedures, learn new systems, and build productive working relationships.
It's a bonus if you have:
- Experience working with end users to understand business needs, document requirements, or support system implementation.
- Knowledge of scripting, data structures, payment card operations, or related financial technology environments.
- Progress toward a business analysis qualification, such as the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) credential.
