Business Analyst - Core Banking

We are looking for a Business Analyst Finacle who is passionate about driving digital transformation within the banking industry. In this role, you will partner with financial institutions to design, implement, and optimize innovative solutions on the Finacle platform , translating business needs into clear functional requirements that support modern banking operations.

You will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams, contributing throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

• •Partner with banking clients to design end-to-end Finacle-based solutions that support their digital transformation initiatives.
• •Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements with key stakeholders.
• •Define functional specifications for Finacle modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs.
• •Participate in end-to-end project delivery across requirements analysis, functional design, testing, deployment, and implementation support.
• •Facilitate workshops and working sessions with clients to identify requirements, assess opportunities, and define effective solutions.
• •Contribute to the definition of integration strategies between Finacle and the client's existing technology ecosystem.
• •Act as the functional bridge between business teams and technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• •Support the configuration and parameterization of Finacle solutions based on approved business requirements.

Qualifications

• •3 to 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• •Hands-on experience with the Finacle platform , including implementation, support, enhancement, or transformation initiatives.
• •Knowledge of Finacle Core Banking modules such as Core, Deposits, Lending, Trade Finance, or related products.
• •Proven experience participating in banking technology implementation or transformation projects.
• •Functional knowledge of banking products and processes, including deposits, lending, insurance, securities, or related domains.
• •Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• •Strong ability to lead client discussions, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions.
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
• •Willingness to travel as required by project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience with Finacle upgrades, version migrations, or multi-country rollout programs.
• •Understanding of banking industry trends, methodologies, regulatory landscapes, and best practices.
• •Interest in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Digital Banking, and Automation.
• •Experience creating business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and traceability matrices.
• •Ability to simplify and communicate complex business and technology challenges effectively.
• •Experience working within global delivery models and distributed onshore/offshore teams.

Additional Skills

• •Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and traditional project delivery methodologies.
• •Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, collaboration, and delivery quality.
• •Ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• •Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and business value creation.
