  • Requirements traceability
  • UAT scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Conduct process and requirements gap analysis.
  • Identify process inconsistencies, integration gaps, manual activities, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Build a sustainable process and requirements knowledge base so program knowledge is documented rather than dependent on individual resources.

Expected knowledge should include experience across functions such as:

  • Order-to-Cash
  • Procure-to-Pay
  • Plan-to-Produce
  • Logistics and Warehouse Management
  • Intercompany and inventory movements
  • SAP S/4HANA

Solution Architecture Support

The BA will:

  • Perform functional analysis before solution-design discussions.
  • Translate business processes into structured requirements for architecture teams.
  • Document business, system, interface and data requirements.
  • Maintain decision, requirement and process documentation.
  • Analyze dependencies between SAP, manufacturing systems, integration platforms and downstream reporting/data capabilities.
  • Validate that proposed solutions address documented business requirements.
  • Help prepare functional information required for architecture and technical design discussions.

BEM & Program Support

Partner with the BEM to:

  • Facilitate requirements workshops and discovery sessions.
  • Convert stakeholder needs into structured requirements.
  • Maintain requirement and decision traceability.
  • Support project intake and scope definition.
  • Identify business-process impacts, dependencies and readiness requirements.
  • Support stakeholder conversations with fact-based process and functional analysis.
  • Provide documentation needed for governance and decision-making.
  • Support cross-site process standardization.
  • Ensure business requirements are sufficiently defined before moving into solution design and delivery.

Testing, Validation & Implementation

  • Translate requirements into acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Support SIT/UAT planning and execution from the functional perspective.
  • Validate that delivered functionality aligns with approved business requirements.
  • Track requirement gaps, defects and process decisions through resolution.
  • Support business readiness and change-impact analysis.
  • Maintain evidence and documentation supporting implementation readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Business Analyst experience in complex SAP and manufacturing environments.
  • Broad functional knowledge of SAP and end-to-end processes, with SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and material-flow processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand processes that cross multiple SAP functional areas.
  • Experience documenting complex end-to-end business and system processes.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and functional analysis skills.
  • Experience producing BRDs, functional requirements, workflows, traceability matrices, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Experience with interfaces, APIs, integration concepts and end-to-end data flows.
  • Experience supporting SIT/UAT and business validation.
  • Ability to translate between business/process requirements and technical teams.
  • Strong facilitation, analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working across business, operations, manufacturing and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EDI/B2B integration experience.
  • Manufacturing IT experience.
  • Data-platform or analytics experience.
  • Experience with multi-site or global SAP deployments.
  • Experience documenting inventory, manufacturing and supply-chain processes.
  • Experience operating between business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, architects and developers.
