- Job Description
- This role supports the Consumer Internal and External Operational Loss Data Programs and other critical reporting. The role supports our lead Ops Loss leader to help ensure adherence to enterprise loss data standards through governance, monthly attestation, quality assurance, research, and reporting; serves as a subject matter resource on operational loss identification and booking; and partners closely with Front Line Units and Business Controls to identify, escalate, and remediate data-quality or process gaps. Top candidates will also partner with our senior reporting manager to support process management across Consumer and Small Business.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of the Internal and External Operational Loss Data Programs and associated governance routines across assigned Consumer Front Line Units
- Monitor adherence to enterprise operational loss data standards and complete required monthly attestations
- Co-Manage relationships with various Consumer Lines of Business and Business Controls partners
- Review operational losses exceeding $100K to confirm accurate identification, classification, booking, documentation, and adherence to enterprise standards and Consumer procedures
- Produce monthly 10K eLedger research for partners to validate operational losses above $10K and follow through on identified exceptions
- Coordinate GCOR quality assurance responses, Front Line Unit Near Miss attestations, and other recurring program deliverables
- Provide operational loss booking subject matter expertise and guidance to Front Line Unit and Business Controls partners
- Perform quality reviews of manual submissions, updates, and supporting documentation for reportable losses
- Support external operational loss data activities, including data collection, validation, analysis, governance reporting, and escalation of relevant trends or gaps
- Maintain program documentation and operate in adherence to the Internal and External Operational Loss Data SOPs
- Support front line units in monitoring and adhering to process management requirements
- Extract data using a variety of tools, such as Tableau and EBIT Cognos Analytics, and apply knowledge of relational database systems (MS Access)
- Connect provisioned data across multiple sources and perform necessary transformations utilizing both technical, business, and process knowledge to transform data into meaningful values and insights
Required Qualifications
- Experience in operational loss, operational risk, finance, or business controls
- Knowledge of internal and external loss data standards and loss-event lifecycle processes
- Intermediate proficiency in various MS tools including Access, Excel (formulas and Pivot tables), PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Familiar with ORCIT/Key Measures, Process Owner Portal (POP), OMINA, Tableau and EBIT Cognos Analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience extracting and merging data from different sources
- Ability to manage recurring deliverables and partner effectively across multiple Front-Line Units and control functions
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Process improvement and/or data analysis experience
- Proven ability to develop executive ready communications and presentations
- Proven track record in being able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly matrix and complex environment

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$104,000.00 - $159,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
